This year’s MNC challenge at Victoria Park in Swinton was a huge success with even the Sun coming out to support us on the day!
Fifteen participants took the the course and everyone managed to achieved or surpass their goals which was absolutely fantastic. The goals achieved ranged from walking outdoors for the first time to completing a 5km circuit which are amazing milestones.
The day would not have been the same without the support from local businesses including Indigo Planning, ISIS, City Walk Garage, Howdens and the Ale man who not only gave generously to our raffle but also came along on the day to help out and cheer everyone on. Thank you so much for your ongoing help and support!
All the money raised will be split between two local charities, Headway Salford and Trafford and the MS Society. Sponsorship is still being collected and therefore the Final totals are yet to be confirmed.
Plans to make next year’s MNC Challenge bigger and better are already taking shape so watch this space everyone!
