MNC would like to congratulate Alex on yet another recovery milestone in his rehabilitation from a spinal cord injury!

Here at MNC we have worked alongside Alex for many years supporting his recovery and overcoming hurdles on the way but he continue to impress, even us, with his determination and commitment to doing everything possible to be the best he can be.

Alex has already taken on so many challenges including early ones such as walking and cycling in Heaton Park as part of the MNC challenge to cycling at the Velodrome, climbing Snowdon and we are sure many others but your recent challenge of taking up skiing is great news.

He is a great inspiration to everyone because he not only does he work so hard to increase his own activity but also often acts as a mentor to other people with similar conditions.

As his dad said recently ‘Nothing is beyond you. Just go for it!’

A sentiment fully supported by your physio team.

GO ALEX!!

Alex had a C5 spinal injury in 2012. He had also had the usual array of injuries associated with playing rugby at international level. He played for Sale Sharks and was on the England Rugby squad

A busy father of three Alex also has a very demanding job that involves a lot of independent travelling the globe.

Alex feels that continuing specialist neurological physiotherapy not only helps him make further improvements but ensures he remains as fit as possible to allow him to take on newer challenges and never stand still in his progression.
