As familiar faces return to MNC following maternity leave and enjoying those precious first months with their babies, Katie Sutton talks about her return to MNC is just like riding a bike!
‘Like riding a bike’
“Having had nine months off work on maternity leave, to say I was apprehensive about coming back to MNC was an understatement.
After nine months of nappies, play groups and timing my day around the all-encompassing nap time routines, I wasn’t sure if I would know how to treat a patient anymore!
That first day back however felt like I’d never been away! It turns out I do still know how to treat patients and felt a bit like riding a bike, a little bit wobbly and deconditioned at first but I got into my stride pretty quickly although I think some strength training wouldn’t have gone a miss!
It was great to see some familiar faces and see how well everyone is progressing with their rehab.
One month on and I’m back in the swing of things and can’t imagine not being part of MNC!”
Never Been Away.
As a team it feels that Katie has never been away! She has jumped straight back in to where she left off, even doing this with sleep deprivation…amazing work! Katie continues to treat some previous patients, but is also building a new patient base.
