Therapeutic handling in Neurological Rehabilitation
Times: Friday 24th October 2025 2pm – 6pm and Saturday 25th October 9am – 4pm

Course Description: This course will explore how specificity of handling can help improve body schema/ awareness and promote functional recovery in individuals with neurological conditions.
Course Outcomes: An understanding of:
- How skeletal alignment impacts tone
- How systematic individualised handling can improve body schema
- The link between body schema and recovery of functional movement
This course is mostly practical with theoretical components and a patient demonstration.
The course is suitable for qualified PT’s and OT”s who work in neurological rehabilitation.
