Funeeza is trained in the Bobath Concept to an advanced level and has over 16 years of experience working in the field of neuro-rehabilitation across the NHS and in Private Practice.
Funeeza takes an in-depth and analytical approach to assessing her patient movement potential. She finds that enriching their sensory experience of movement through expert handling and skilled use of the environment is central to helping her patients move more efficiently to benefit their everyday lives.
Funeeza is a self-confessed geek! She often has her head in a research paper and much to the delight of the rest of the team; she enjoys sharing her knowledge and findings. Funeeza has a passion for learning and teaching. She is actively involved in the delivery of physiotherapy assistants courses and also as a clinical educator involved in MNC clinical placements for undergraduate and masters level physiotherapists.
Funeeza is also training to be a Bobath Instructor through the International tutor training programme. Funeeza wishes to continue to deepen her knowledge and skill base through this education programme for the ultimate benefit of her patients, striving always to get them to reach their maximum neurological potential.
