DESCRIPTION:Introduction to Bobath (Module 3) \nThe integration of postural control and selective movement for functional activities (Part B) \nCourse Tutor: Tim Walton \nCourse Description: This BBTA module will include patient demonstrations\, theoretical and practical sessions. It will focus on the assessment and treatment of the patient with more established movement dysfunction. \nCourse Aims: \n\nTo discuss the pathophysiology and consequences to the patient with established movement dysfunction\nTo develop skills of observation\, analysis\, and facilitation in a neurologically intact subject\nTo link the evidence base and clinical practice\n\nLearning Outcomes: \n\nExplain the pathophysiology and consequences of a Upper Motor Neurone syndrome\nDemonstrate a deeper understanding of postural and tonal variations within the normal population\nProblem solve appropriate handling in neurologically intact models to align/activate distal key points\nDraw upon improved assessment skills to treat a patient with established movement dysfunction\n\n  \nSuitable for: Qualified Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists working in neurology \nSaturday 9th August 2025 – 9am – 4pm and Sunday 10th August 2025 – 9am – 1pm \nCost: £240. \nHow to Apply: Please either email your interest to admin@mncweb.co.uk or telephone 0161 7930003
